A few weeks ago I had stamped the Easter chick stamp on watercolor paper multiple times, colored with Twinkling H2Os, and cut out. I used one of those to make my card today for the sketch challenge. I had a large scrap of the print paper and wanted to use that as the main background, so I cut a piece slightly smaller than A2 size and mounted on a vanilla card. I cut a scrap of lavender cardstock and layered on a dark purple âcross crossâ ( no idea what to actually call this design). I die cut a section of the border die and glued to the underside of the lavender piece. I started lining up the pieces as in the sketch and then decided I liked it all better a little offset. I glued the chick to the lavender piece and attached the whole piece to the card with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment in purple ink on a scrap of vanilla and backed it with green cardstock to match the border piece. I attached to card with foam tape, and finished with several pink, purple and green sequins.
USEIT2022: paper scraps, previously made stamped/painted images, sentiment stamp is very old but had never been used! Cross cross die is new to me, and I used a few more of my massive collection of Dollar Tree sequins.
